Roots in polymer expertise. Engineered for the future.
Our story began in 2014 with a clear advantage. Backed by a deep family heritage in raw plastic materials and a robust industrial network, father and son Wille set out to build a custom filament extruder. 3D4M was born from this deep-rooted knowledge of polymers, transitioning from raw material distribution to advanced filament manufacturing.
Today, our team has grown into a specialized collective of material experts, operating on the exact same principle we started with: uncompromising material integrity.
We started our journey as 3D4Makers, dedicating ourselves to the creators pushing the early boundaries of 3D printing. As we matured and evolved into 3D4M, that M became a fluid symbol that grew along with the industry itself. Today, it doesn't just stand for the makers who built our foundation, but for a deeper synergy of industrial goals. It is woven into the advanced materials we formulate, the global manufacturers we support, and the seamless scaling toward mass production. It lives in the engineering mindset behind every manufacturing milestone and the absolute reliability required for mission-critical applications.
We achieve this reliability through extrusion lines we design and build ourselves, using our patented extrusion process. For moisture-sensitive polymers, our air-cooling technology offers a water-free cooling option, allowing us to tailor the production process to the material and limit moisture exposure. Vacuum-sealing these spools at the source helps preserve their condition through storage and transport. It is this dedication to control that makes us a proud partner to over 100 universities and global factory floors worldwide.
